Shinde upset after Fadnavis extends Marathi rule for auto drivers in Maha: Report

Tensions have emerged within Maharashtra’s ruling Mahayuti alliance after CM Devendra Fadnavis extended by one year the deadline for autorickshaw and taxi drivers to learn Marathi, ABP Live reported. Fadnavis reportedly took the decision without taking Transport Minister and Shiv Sena leader Pratap Sarnaik into confidence. The move has angered Deputy CM Eknath Shinde and other Shiv Sena ministers.
