Ship heading from India to UAE was attacked by US near Pakistan: Report

Panama-flagged container ship Vela Nova which was attacked near Pakistan while sailing into the Gulf of Oman was attacked by the US, Wall Street Journal reported. A US helicopter fired a Hellfire missile at the ship's rudder after it tried to evade a US blockade. The ship was heading from India to UAE, as per marine traffic websites.
