HMS Terror found in the Arctic sea after 168 years

The Arctic Research Foundation said it has found 203-year-old HMS Terror at the bottom of Terror Bay in the Arctic, 168 years after the vessel sank during an expedition led by explorer Sir John Franklin. HMS Terror and HMS Erebus were abandoned in heavy sea ice in 1848 during an attempt to complete the Northwest Passage, leaving 129 men dead.
