Shipping traffic through Hormuz rises 400% in two weeks: Report

Shipping traffic through Strait of Hormuz has increased by 400% in two weeks as ships use a US-backed route along Oman’s coast, a Times Now report said. Nearly 200 ships crossed last week, compared with 150 the previous week and 40 two weeks ago, UK Maritime Trade Operations Centre data showed. Overall traffic remains at around 20% of pre-war levels.
