Shirdi Airport new terminal construction picks up pace

Construction of a new integrated passenger terminal at MADC's Shirdi Airport is accelerating. The 56,000 sq metre facility will handle 1,200 passengers per hour. MADC Director Deepak Kapoor confirmed work is being expedited. The expansion aims to ease pressure on existing infrastructure and support rising pilgrim and tourist arrivals, including ahead of the 2027 Nashik Kumbh Mela.
