Airports Authority of India (AAI) has given its approval to the Shirdi Airport after the first trial flight landed here from Mumbai. The airport will now be operational in four months from now. According to the AAI, work in the first phase would include flights to Dubai and Singapore, in addition to Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Ahmedabad.
