Shirt worn by Pele in 1958 World Cup final sold for ₹47 crore
Brazil legend Pele's number 10 shirt from the 1958 World Cup final has been sold for $4.9 million (₹47 crore) at auction. The then 17-year-old scored twice as Brazil defeated hosts Sweden 5-2 to win their first World Cup. It is the second-most expensive football shirt auctioned, behind Diego Maradona's 'Hand of God' shirt, sold for $9.3 million in 2022.
