Shiv Sena (UBT) had plans to merge with Congress, claim 6 rebel MPs: Report

Six MPs from Shiv Sena (UBT) who may join Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena reportedly, told Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla that Shiv Sena (UBT) had plans to merge with Congress. The MPs said they wanted to switch because of this merger. They also requested Birla to allocate them seats near the Shinde faction MPs in Lok Sabha.
