Shivakumar, set to become K'taka CM, vowed in 2019 to not shave beard till he becomes CM

DK Shivakumar, who is set to take the oath as Karnataka Chief Minister on June 3, had vowed in 2019 to not shave his beard till he becomes the CM. Before 2019, Shivakumar was known for his clean-shaven look. But he grew a beard while he was in Delhi’s Tihar Jail in 2019 and has not clean-shaved it until now.
