Shocked: SC on murder accused's bail pending before HC for 4 yrs

Supreme Court said it was "shocked" to learn that a murder case accused's bail application was pending before Allahabad High Court for the last four years. However, noting that the trial is likely to be completed soon, the apex court desisted from seeking an explanation. "We are informed that HC has yet to take...appropriate decision on the...bail application," SC said.
