Shoemaker turns billionaire after his luxury goods firm's IPO
Jose Neves, the Founder of online luxury goods marketplace Farfetch, has become a billionaire with a net worth of $1.2 billion after the firm's initial public offering. The 44-year-old Portuguese shoe designer and programmer owns 14.8% of the London-based company. He joins Louis Vuitton maker LVMH's Chairman Bernard Arnault and Spain's Zara Founder Amancio Ortega as self-made fashion industry billionaires.
