Shoes, sailor's jaw found in wreck of Danish warship that sank 225 yrs ago

Marine archaeologists have discovered the wreck of the Danish warship Dannebroge on the seabed of Copenhagen harbour. The ship was torn apart in battle 225 years ago by the fleet of British Admiral Horatio Nelson. Archaeologists, who are working around 15 metres beneath the harbour's surface, found two cannons, uniforms, insignia, shoes, bottles and part of a sailor's lower jaw.
