Shooting threat reported at Hard Rock Las Vegas hotel site

A large police presence was reported Monday at the under-construction guitar-shaped Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas on South Las Vegas Boulevard. Locals on social media said a threat note about a shooting was found at the site. No active shooter situation was confirmed. The $4 billion resort is slated to open in 2027.
