Shreyas Iyer falls on 9; Padikkal dismissed on 0 in Duleep Trophy

India’s middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer fell cheaply on nine runs in the season opener of Duleep Trophy 2024. The Indian domestic season kicked off on September 5 with a clash between India D and India C in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. Apart from skipper Iyer’s cheap dismissal, the game also saw Devdutt Padikkal returning to the pavilion on a duck.
