Shreyas Iyer to get entire salary of ₹7 crore despite missing IPL 2021

Delhi Capitals' Shreyas Iyer will receive his entire salary of ₹7 crore despite missing IPL 2021 due to shoulder injury. The 26-year-old is eligible for his compensation under the BCCI's Player Insurance policy as he is a centrally contracted player and suffered the injury while on national duty. The policy had come into effect in 2011.
