Shubman Gill breaks record for scoring highest score by a captain in ODI cricket

India captain Shubman Gill broke the record for the highest individual score by a captain in ODI cricket during the second ODI against West Indies in Guwahati. Gill scored 223*(133) as India chased down 406-run target. The previous record was held by Virender Sehwag, who scored 219 as captain against West Indies in Indore in 2011.
