Shubman Gill ruled out of first Test against Australia due to thumb fracture

Team India opener Shubman Gill has been ruled out of the first Test match against Australia due to thumb fracture. The 25-year-old fractured his thumb while he was fielding during a match simulation session in Perth on Saturday. The first Test match will begin on November 22 in Perth.
