Shubman Gill wins ICC Men's Player of the Month for the first time

Team India opener Shubman Gill has been named ICC Men's Player of the Month for January 2023. It is the first time that the 23-year-old has bagged the monthly award. Overall, he is the sixth Indian cricketer after Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli to win the ICC Men's Player of the Month award.
