Shubman has been dropped as Suryakumar isn't making runs: Uthappa

Ex-India wicketkeeper-batter Robin Uthappa agreed with an interviewer's opinion that Shubman Gill was dropped from India's T20 World Cup 2026 squad because Suryakumar Yadav isn't making runs. "With World Cup sides...you can carry up to one player who isn't in great form; you can't carry more than that," Uthappa explained. He added, "I'm not saying Gill deserved to be there."
