Shubman should not open in Rohit's absence in Australia: Kumble

Former India captain Anil Kumble opined that Shubman Gill shouldn't open in Rohit Sharma's absence in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. "I know there's a temptation to push Gill because Rohit isn't available in the first Test. But, there's always KL Rahul, who is synonymous with change," Kumble said. Rohit will reportedly miss the Perth Test owing to personal reasons.
