Shut down call centre op in India for defrauding US citizens: FBI

The FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) claimed that it shut down a call center operation in India that "defrauded" hundreds of elderly victims in the US and abroad out of millions of dollars through tech support scams. It further claimed that its investigation has resulted in the arrests and convictions of five India-based telemarketing fraudsters.
