Sibal seeks to stop live streaming of SC hearing in Kolkata rape-murder case, CJI denies

Kapil Sibal, who is representing the West Bengal government in the Kolkata rape and murder case, urged the Supreme Court to not allow live-streaming, stating, "Our reputation is getting destroyed overnight." "We will not stop the live-streaming, it is in the public interest, it's an open court," Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud responded.
