Siddaramaiah blames hasty approval of COVID vaccines for heart attacks, Biocon Founder reacts

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah said the hasty approval given to COVID-19 vaccines could be the reason for rising heart attack deaths. Responding to him, Biocon Founder Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw said the vaccines were approved under rigorous protocols. "To suggest that these vaccines were 'hastily' approved is factually incorrect...These vaccines have saved millions of lives," she wrote on X.
