Sign of disrespect: Decathlete Shankar to ministry on awards delay

Decathlete Tejaswin Shankar called the sports ministry's delay in announcing the National Sports Awards "demotivating" and a "sign of disrespect" to athletes. Reacting to reports of a re-evaluation process, he said, "This should've been thought of 'before' the...recommended names came out in December. Not 4 months 'after'."
