Signal claims app has been blocked in Iran, says 'Iranians deserve privacy'

Messaging service Signal on Tuesday claimed that Iran's censors had dropped all Signal traffic, adding that the people of Iran "deserve privacy". Several Iranian users also claimed that they were unable to access the app on their mobile devices. The Associated Press reported that users in Iran's capital Tehran and three other major cities were facing issues accessing Signal app.
