Sikh body demands reopening of Kartarpur Sahib Corridor for devotees

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) demanded the reopening of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor border crossing for Sikh devotees to visit Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan. The corridor was shut in May 2025 amid India-Pakistan tensions after a terror attack in Pahalgam and Operation Sindoor. The gurdwara is the final resting place of the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev.
