Sikkim launches India's first Himalayan speciality coffee district

Sikkim has launched India’s first Himalayan Speciality Coffee Impact District in North Sikkim to promote organic coffee farming. Inaugurated on June 24 at Mangan, the initiative leverages the region’s cool climate and high-altitude terrain. It involves the state Horticulture Department, AgrImpact Ventures, SocioLadder Group, and the Coffee Board of India.
