Sikkim stops issuing Inner Line Permit to foreigners over coronavirus

The Sikkim government has suspended issuing Inner Line Permit to foreign nationals, including those from Bhutan, until further orders as a precautionary measure amid coronavirus outbreak. No permits will be issued by the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department for travel to Nathula mountain pass in East Sikkim district, the government added. This comes after 30 cases were confirmed across India.
