Siliguri civic body introduces drone to combat dengue

The Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) in West Bengal has introduced a drone designed by a school student to combat dengue. The SMC is conducting a month-long trial of the drone, which can take pictures of stagnant water on the terrace of high rise buildings. SMC Mayor Asoke Bhattacherjee said, "After this many states are asking me about the project."
