Silver crosses ₹3 lakh/kg for 1st time ever, gold rises 2% on MCX

Silver prices crossed ₹3 lakh per kg for the first time ever in the Indian futures market on Monday. Meanwhile, gold also surged 2% to a new all-time high. As per the MCX website, silver futures with February expiry jumped over 4% to peak at ₹3,01,315 per kg and gold futures with February expiry surged to ₹1,45,500 per 10 gm.
