Silver and gold ETFs fell nearly 18% and 7%, respectively, as futures opened sharply low on Thursday. Kotak Silver ETF dropped around 18% to ₹228.56 apiece, while Edelweiss Silver ETF fell more than 15%. Among the gold ETFs, 360 ONE Gold ETF declined 7% percent, and Edelweiss Gold ETF, Axis MF Gold ETF, fell around 5.5% each.
