Silver overtakes Apple to become world's 3rd-most valuable asset
Silver has surpassed Apple to become the world's third-most valuable asset, after gold and NVIDIA. As per Tuesday's closing prices, silver's market capitalisation stood at $4.04 trillion, slightly higher than Apple's $4.02 trillion valuation. The precious metal has crossed the $70-an-ounce mark amid expectations of a US rate cut, strong industrial demand and heavy ETF inflows.
