Singapore blows up 100-kg World War II bomb; video released

Singapore has successfully disposed of a 100-kilogram World War II bomb unearthed at a construction site. The bomb was disposed of after more than 4,000 nearby residents were evacuated. Sandbags and concrete blocks were used to build a protective wall around the bomb to minimise the impact of the blast.
