Singapore extends 'circuit breaker' period till June 1 amid COVID-19
Singapore PM Lee Hsien Loong said that the country will extend its 'circuit breaker' period, partial lockdown, till June 1. PM Lee's announcement comes after Singapore recently witnessed a rise in daily COVID-19 cases being reported in the country. Singapore reported 1,111 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, a majority of them are foreign workers living in dormitories.
