Singapore lifts entry ban on 10 southern African countries
Singapore has lifted the entry ban it had imposed on 10 southern African countries amid fears over the Omicron COVID-19 variant. Separately, the country's Health Ministry said that it expects a new wave of local cases "soon" given the higher transmissibility of the Omicron variant. The impact of the potential wave can be blunted with precautions against COVID-19, it added.
