Singapore man gets 34.5 years jail for killing 5-yr-old daughter

A 44-year-old man in Singapore has been jailed for 34-and-a-half years for the murder of his 5-year-old daughter. The sentencing also includes 12 strokes of the cane. The victim was identified as Ayeesha; she died in 2017 after her father repeatedly hit her in the face. The father would lock the girl and her brother in the toilet.
