Singapore tops India’s foreign investment list, US inflows double
Foreign investment into India hit $35.18 billion in the first half of FY26, with Singapore leading at $11.94 billion and the US doubling its inflows to $6.62 billion. Overall FDI grew 18% year-on-year, though Q2 saw an 11.1% quarter-on-quarter dip. Historically, Singapore and Mauritius remain India's biggest long-term investors, followed by the US.
