Singer Inder Kaur left career for 'fiancé' before alleged murder, says family

The body of Punjabi singer Inder Kaur was recovered from Neelon canal in Ludhiana on Tuesday. Police said prima facie investigations suggest her fiancé, Sukhwinder Singh Sukha, allegedly travelled from Canada to India to execute the murder. "She left her singing career because of him," her cousin said. She later refused to marry him after learning he was already married.
