Singer Phoebe sued for $3.8 mn by music producer alleging defamation

Singer Phoebe Bridgers has been sued for $3.8 million by music producer Chris Nelson for allegedly spreading false accusations. Chris said that Phoebe got sexually involved with his then-girlfriend Emily Bannon and wrote on Instagram that she witnessed abuse perpetuated by him. Phoebe directed her followers to Emily who accused him of committing racially motivated crimes, he said.
