Singer Zubeen Garg was drunk, refused life jacket before drowning: Singapore Police

Singapore Police told a court that singer Zubeen Garg was "severely intoxicated" and had refused to wear a life jacket before he drowned off Lazarus Island while attending a yacht party, Channel News Asia reported. It added Zubeen was given CPR, but pronounced dead soon after. Notably, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma had earlier said Zubeen's death was a murder.
