Siniakova, Townsend win French Open women's doubles title, get ₹3.2 cr each

Czech Republic's Katerina Siniakova and USA's Taylor Townsend won their first French Open title together, defeating Kazakhstan's Anna Danilina and Serbia's Aleksandra Krunic 6-2, 7-5 in the women's doubles final on Sunday. Siniakova, a veteran of the format, has now won three majors with Townsend. The pair earned €600,000 in prize money, amounting to around ₹3.2 crore each.
