Sinner pens note after Djokovic knocks him out of Aus Open, says 'Gave everything'

World number two Jannik Sinner penned a note on social media after 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic defeated him in the Australian Open 2026 men's singles semi-final on Friday. "Not my day, but I gave everything," he wrote. Sinner added, "Congrats to Djokovic. It's always an honour to share the court with [him]...The work continues. See you soon again."
