Australian cricketer Sir Donald Bradman passed away on February 25, 2001. He had a Test average of 99.94 and scored 29 centuries, 12 double centuries and two triple centuries. The Australian holds the record for the most runs scored (974) by a batsman in a single series and is also the only batsman to have scored six consecutive Test centuries.
