SIR happened smoothly everywhere except West Bengal: SC

The Supreme Court on Tuesday said Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls happened smoothly everywhere except West Bengal. To this, senior advocate Kalyan Banerjee responded that other than West Bengal, logical discrepancy have not been applied to any other state. The court also highlighted the workload on judicial officers and stated they are deciding over two lakh objections.
