SIT busts multi-crore fake medicine racket in Bengaluru

The SIT probing a fake medicine racket in Bengaluru’s Tavarekere has uncovered a multi-crore operation allegedly supplying counterfeit cancer, thyroid and vitamin medicines to hospitals and medical shops. Veeresh, owner of Krupa Health Care, has been arrested. Investigators have seized fake medicines and documents and are questioning him to trace other key accused and the wider network involved.
