SIT formed to probe killing of BJP leader Adhikari's assistant in Bengal

A Special Investigation Team (SIT), headed by IG CID, has been formed to probe the killing of Chandranath Rath, personal assistant of BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. The SIT will include officers from the CID, Intelligence Branch (IB) and the Bengal STF. Notably, Rath was shot dead in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas on Wednesday night.
