SIT harassed press, seized phones: HC on Anna University assault case

Madras High Court ruled that all-women Special Investigation Team (SIT) assaulted and oppressed journalists in leak of Anna University sexual assault case's FIR. SIT confiscated journalists' phones in spite those devices having no information about registration or leak of FIR, HC noted. SIT also asked about 50 questions from journalists, most of which were unrelated to the case, it added.
