Sit quietly, keep paying ₹15,000 and be happy: SC to man seeking divorce after 16-year separation

The Supreme Court declined to grant divorce to a 54-year-old man separated from his wife for 16 years, telling him to "sit quietly, keep paying ₹15,000 maintenance, and be happy." The man, earning ₹65,000 monthly with no pension cited temperamental differences. His wife, however, told the court she was willing to resume the marriage.
