SIT suspects stolen Ram Temple gold melted into biscuits, ₹6–8 lakh siphoned off daily

Amid the probe into the alleged theft of donations at Ayodhya's Ram Temple, SIT is examining whether gold ornaments stolen from the temple were converted into biscuits. Investigators suspect the accused may have melted the stolen gold and silver jewellery to destroy identifying features, India Today reported. They estimate that ₹6-8 lakh may have been siphoned off daily from donations.
