Sitaram Kesri wasn't thrown out, had offered to resign: Cong

After PM Narendra Modi's claimed that former Congress President Sitaram Kesri was thrown out of office to make way for Sonia Gandhi, the Congress reacted saying the latter had instead offered to resign. Claiming that PM Modi was wrong in calling Kesri a "Dalit", Congress leader Tariq Anwar said that he had belonged to the "Vaish community".
